With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Marcella Herrington, “Sally.” Surrounded by love, she peacefully entered into eternal life.
Marcella was a woman of strength, unwavering love, and deep faith. She devoted her life to her family, always putting others before herself. Her love was steady and unconditional–the kind that made you feel safe, seen, and cherished. She was the heart of our family, the one who held us all together through every season of life.
She had a gentle spirit, but a resilient soul. Through both joyful celebrations and difficult trials, Marcella remained steadfast. Her kindness extended beyond her family to friends, neighbors, and anyone blessed enough to know her. She had a way of making people feel welcome, offering comfort in hard times and laughter in good ones.
Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family. The lessons she taught us–about love, faith, perseverance, and grace–will live on in each of us. Though our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing she is no longer suffering and is now resting in God’s presence.
Marcella’s legacy is one of love. It is written in the lives she shaped, the prayers she whispered, and the memories we will forever hold close.
