Linda Haney McCallister
Hartwell GA - Linda, age 69, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, under hospice care.
She was born on October 17th, 1953 in Union, SC, the daughter of the late William and Daisy Haney.
Linda was survived by her two children son Sean McCallister(wife Tonya) and daughter Dina McDowell(husband Tory); four grandchildren Brittiany Rape, Cameron McCallister, Isiah Miller, and Keely Miller; two great grandchildren Kaiya Rape and Lilia Pesce; a sister Sandra West; two brothers William Haney, and Michael Haney; long-term partner Carl Thomas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded by her parents William and Daisy Haney; six sisters Maggie Miller, Rosie Moore, Cindy Gibson, Dorothy Justice, Jean Turner, Vanessa Hogans; 2 brothers Gerald Haney, and James Haney.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 3, 2023 at True Life Church 12924 E Wade Hampton Blvd Duncan, SC 29334.
A brief time of fellowship will be held from 5:30-6:00 pm at the church with the service immediately following.

I met Linda when I was 9 or 10. I grew to love her. I remember she taught me how to roll my hair on hot rollers. Lol them were the days. I haven't seen her in many years. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. God bless t9 all family and friends.
