On Thursday, October 16th, Kelly Carmen passed away peacefully at home at the age of 62 surrounded by his wife and children. Growing up in a military home in Milford, NH, he was passionate about his country and served in the USMC making his rank to Staff Sergeant. After traveling the US on his motorcycle, he planted roots in Georgia, making a successful career in Fiberoptic Engineering.
His journey on earth was marked by love, compassion and unwavering loyalty. Married to his wife Cindy for 31 years, some of his greatest joys were with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Kelly is preceded in death by his parents; Nathanial Carmen & Trudy Carmen Bly, his brother Bobbie, his sister Jessica and his brother Brian.
Kelly is survived by his wife, Cindy Carmen. His 3 children, Christiaan, Nikki and Lauren and their spouses. His 3 grandchildren, Kace, Ashton and Nayeli. His brothers and sisters: Keith, Nate, Marie, Becky, Billie and Sue. His stepmother, MaryEllen Carmen. His stepfather, Gene Bly. And many, many close friends.
There will be a private Celebration of Life at the Carmen home. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to Kelly's go fund me or donate plants to be planted in his memory.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Kelly. Those were the best times of my life. Rest easy Kelly.
Kelly was a great guy, husband, father and grandfather. Glad I was lucky to know him and his family.
He was my friend we met around 1990 as coworkers at a small cable company in Henry County GA I was involved in his training later on we worked together at a cable company in Atlanta I'm truly saddened my friend is gone my condolences to his family 🙏🏻
