Joyce was born in Miami, FL on July 10, 1935 and passed away on June 15, 2023 at The Oaks of Scenic View, assisted living facility. Joyce was 87.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother Nellie Hunt Gammage and father Deodatus D Gammage. Sisters Chrystal J Lebovitz, C Yvonne Gibson, Nellie D Council, and Marjorie L Danagher.

Joyce worked hard at all the jobs she had during her life including Southern Bell, North-Dade Heights Church kindergarten and day care both in Miami, FL. Golden Gem Growers, and Harry-Anna Crippled Children's Hospital and Home in Umatilla, FL and Daystar Digital Electronics in Flowery Branch GA and at Tyrol International in Cleveland,

GA Joyce is survived by her sons John Russell Smith, of Cleveland GA, Joel David Smith and wife Rika of Kalamazoo MI, Troy C. Smith and wife Candy of Pensacola, FL, Daughter Lue Anne and Husband Michael Ash of Gillsville, GA and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be announced a later date.

The staff of Central Cremation Services is honored to be selected to provide the Rosebrough family end-of-life services.
