As your second grandchild, I was welcomed into a love that was already blooming. It has as always been one of the greatest honors of my life to be the second born, to come into this world and be wrapped in arms that already knew how to love a grandchild. Being your second grandchild has always felt like an honor I carry quietly in my heart. Because your love wasn't divided — it multiplied. And I will forever be grateful that I got to grow up wrapped in it. It's been the most incredible gift it's been to be your granddaughter. Forever I will be, but now you live within my heart. Every single day, I'll carry you with me — the love you showered me with, and the warmth you shared with everyone around you.
I'm going to miss you so deeply — your comforting hugs, your booming laughter, your spooky stories, and all your tales, really... even your "gimme twos." I'll miss your breakfast potatoes, your chicken soup, the nighttime margaritas, and every joint we shared 🌿.
I'll miss your live guitar music and your beautiful voice. I'll miss seeing your new paintings fill your beautiful home. I'm going to miss you telling Alexa to turn the music up as loud as she can go.
I'm endlessly grateful to have shared your last week with you — watching Ancient Aliens, eating chocolate, and just talking about your long beautiful life.
You were unlike any other grandpa — truly one of a kind. You've been so incredibly special to me for as long as I can remember. You are absolutely one of the best & one of my favorite men in the whole world.
