Obituary For Jennifer Lynn Bell

Jennifer Lynn Bell, lovingly known as “Mere,” was born on October 28, 1954, in Aberdeen, Maryland, to Clinton and Dorothy Florian, and passed away on September 21, 2026.

As a young girl, Jennifer lived in France for several years while her father was stationed there with the United States Army. She later made her home in Huntsville, Alabama, where she married Roger Bell Sr. and raised their two children, Roger and Danna. Huntsville became home for much of her life and was where she built a life filled with family, friends, and memories.

Jennifer worked at Twickenham Pediatrics in Huntsville beginning in the early 1990s and remained there until her retirement in 2014. She formed many lasting friendships during her years there and was fondly remembered by the people she worked with and the families she came to know.

In 2015, Jennifer moved to Gwinnett County, Georgia, where she lived with her son and his family until her passing. She treasured the time spent with family and the memories made along the way.

Jennifer was a loyal Alabama Crimson Tide fan through and through, and everyone knew where her loyalties lay. She especially loved the Nick Saban era and proudly cheered for the Tide.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Ann Branson; her mother, Dorothy Florian; and her father, Clinton Florian.

She is survived by her son, Roger Bell Jr. (Melanie); her daughter, Danna Link (Tim); her grandchildren, Katelyn, London, Journey, and Maverick; and her beloved Shih Tzu, Penny, along with extended family and many dear friends and loved ones.

In keeping with Jennifer’s wishes, no formal services will be held.

She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
