Estelle Murphy Cooper was born in Lincolnton, Georgia, on June 12, 1942 to the late Clyde and Ruby Murphy. She was preceded in death by her 3 other siblings ( Preston Murphy, Alton Murphy and Velma Hulette ).

She attended Alexander Stephens Institute for high school. After high school she began her journey west to Atlanta where she worked 25 + years for BellSouth (AT&T) until retirement.

Estelle was married to the love of her life Rufus Cooper for over 60 years. They defined love, loyalty and enthusiasm for one another along with all those around them.

Estelle “Nana” loved her family and grandchildren dearly. She never let life’s troubles bring her down, always with a smile and a funny statement that usually followed.

Estelle was a loving and true wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

She leaves behind her son, Scott Cooper and her precious grandchildren, Ian and Tessa Cooper.
