Obituary For Doug Ray Cullen Grant

Doug Grant, age 71, of Helen, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late Clayton Grant and Carrie Lou "Pat" Grant on December 15, 1954.

He was the owner and operator of El Dorado Rock Shop, also known as Blackbeard's Treasures, on Highway 75N in Helen, Georgia.

Doug was preceded in death by his father Clayton, mother, Pat and brother Donald. He is survived by his daughter Sabrina Renee Grant of Clarksville and his brother Ron Grant of Gainesville. Doug is also survived by his cousins Jack Waldrip and Linda Rose, Judy Wilson Sosebee, Tommy Wilson, Alan Condon and neice Kelli Bivins and nephew Dustin Grant and his most beloved dogs, Digger, Sapphire and Snoopy.

No services have been planned at this time.
