Obituary For Dennis Ralph Morgan

Central Cremation Services respectfully announces the passing of Dennis Ralph Morgan of Winterville GA, on December 26th, 2024.

Dennis Ralph Morgan, predeceased by his parents, Ralph Morgan and Annie Wheeling; brothers, Marvin M. Morgan, Sr. and Wayne F. Morgan; and nephews, Marvin “Buster” Morgan, Gary Morgan, and Eric Morgan.

He is survived by grandchildren, Ashley Brackett, James Julian Love III, and Makayla Love as well as his nieces, Kathy Gingras, L. Jeannette Baker, and Theresa Conley, his nephew, James Morgan, and by 15 grandnieces and grandnephews.

Dennis proudly served in the United States Naval Construction Battalion as a Sea Bee from 1969 - 2001, participating in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He enjoyed a distinguished career in quality assurance and control within the oil and gas industry, working in global locations such as Africa and Russia. Dennis also ran Morgan Diamond M Stables, where he specialized in horse boarding, training, and lessons.

A member of the Freemasons and American Legion, Dennis cherished the camaraderie of his brothers in arms. He was passionate about horse racing, football, old westerns, and had a gift for storytelling. Always seen in his pressed shirt, jeans, and cowboy boots, he had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at his residence in Winterville, GA Saturday January 18th, 2025.
