Barbra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Kibler, her devoted parents, Alice Odom and Mark E. Strickland, and all four of her grandparents. Though she has left this world, she is survived by her loving siblings, Carla S. Ramey and Ross Tyser, and cherished niece, Reba Ramey (Danny Gantt). She also leaves behind Traci Buttram (Drew Buttram) and Colvin Meissner, as well as five wonderful great-nieces and nephews, whom she adored deeply.
Barbra had an extraordinary ability to make people feel seen and valued. Whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or her radiant smile, she uplifted those around her. She was known for her generosity, always ready to lend a hand or offer words of encouragement. A natural nurturer, she found joy in making others feel at home—her heart was open to all, and her warmth left an indelible mark on countless lives.
Her love for family was boundless, and she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Barbra’s wisdom, humor, and unwavering support made her a source of comfort and strength. Her laughter could brighten even the darkest of days, and her kindness knew no limits.
Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
In accordance with her wishes, Barbra will be reunited with her beloved husband, Bruce, as they find their final resting place together. A private ceremony will be held to honor her memory, offering her loved ones a moment of peace and reflection as they bid farewell to a remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
