Carter Funeral Home announces the restful transition of Mr. Woodrow Boykin, Jr. of Louisville, Alabama.
Mr. Boykin, 77, known and loved as “Uncle Bear’ peacefully transitioned into eternity on February 27,2023, in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, March 10, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00 am from the sanctuary of the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The message of triumph will be delivered by Pastor Joe N. Grey
Interment will follow all services in the Shady Grove Baptist Cemetery.
In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.
