Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Willie Preston Williams, 60, of Tuskegee, Alabama.
Born December 4,1957, Mr. Williams was known and loved as 'Pres ". He was a fixture in both Macon and Bullock Counties and was often seen in traveling in the yellow tow truck.
Public visitation along with an hour of reflection and remembrance will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 from the sanctuary of the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Jerome Anthony, pastor.
Pastor, Hawthorne Reed of the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church will preside over the services.
Public visitation will begin at 11:00 am with Remembrance services commencing at 12:00 noon.
Willie Preston Williams was born December 4th 1957 to the late Theola Nelson and Nep Williams in Union Springs, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his brothers Hollis Williams and Willie Lee Williams.
On May 23rd 2018 Willie Preston Williams departed this earth after enduring several extended illnesses. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved fiancé Dewanda Person of (Tuskegee, AL), his children Jamie Crenshaw of (Mobile AL), Jennifer and Bravica Raybon of (Union Springs, AL), Jalisa Williams of (Union Springs, AL), Kamiyah Williams of (Tuskegee, AL). He also leaves behind his Step-Father Alge Nelson, five loving sisters, Carnella (Clifford) of Brunswick, GA, Callie Mae Gilmore of (Birmingham AL), Mary, Edna, and Margaret Youngblood of (Union Springs, AL), two brothers James Otis and Marvin Youngblood (Union Springs, AL), 3 Uncles Willie Lewis Williams (Union Spring, AL) George (Oliva) Surles (Jersey City, NJ), Abraham Surles (Lucille) of (Union Spring, AL), 5 grandchildren, and a host of beloved family members.
