Mrs. Cope transitioned into eternity on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the age of 89.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00am from the sanctuary of the First Missionary Baptist Church, 106 Holcombe Ave., Union Springs, AL.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove CME Church, 11312 Co. Rd. 7, Troy, AL.

The caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of the late Mrs. Wilgie Louise Rowell Cope.

It is our prayer that God’s grace, comfort, and peace will continue to keep her family during this difficult time.
