Ms. Virginia Youngblood was a dear friend of my mother Mrs. Larcenia Penn Goodwin for as many years as I can remember, and to her siblings and mother , as well. I remember her from being a child. I would go with my mother to visit Virginia when she was home in Sardis. They shared a friendly, loving and caring relationship. They were friends, neighbors, and supporters of each other, when there was a need and they could help. They loved each other as God put love in their hearts. Ms. Virginia always had a smile and always welcomed my mother when she saw her with that sweet smile, an hug and a very sweet greeting. May God continue to bless Ms. Virginia's family and friends. As she rest in heaven with that smile, and her Heavenly Father.
I was so very sorry to learn of Virginia's passing. Had I been there, I surely would have attended the service. I have fond memories of Virginia as she cared for my sisters and myself when we were small. She was a sweet lady. I went by to visit her a few years ago, but missed her as she was not home. Please know that your family is in my prayers during this difficult time.
