The earthly life of Mrs. Virginia Dobbins came to an end on Saturday November 6, 2021, at the age of 69 at her sister's (Martha Jenkins) residence in Union Springs, Alabama. Mrs. Dobbins was born February 11, 1952, in Union Springs, Alabama to the parents of John Henry Rogers and Martha Howard Rogers.
Mrs. Dobbins will lie in state Friday, November 19, 2021, from 12 until 5 at Waters Funeral Home of Franklin, TN
Visitation with family Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 12 until 1 at Limestone Baptist Church, 1613 West Main Street Franklin, Tennessee, with funeral to follow. Pastor Wayne McCullough officiating.
Interment will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Dobbins leaves to cherish her many memories, her husband, Mallon Dobbins, Jr.; children, Tena (Rockie) Thomas and Marilyn (Reggie) Jones; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; sisters, Katie M. Jones, Martha Jenkins and Ethel M. Ford; brother, Henry O. Rogers; brothers-in-law, Sylvester Randolph, James (Jackie) Dobbins; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Oden, Ella Mai Taylor, Maggie (Sammie) Grinter, Bobbie (Kent) Jones and Jacquelyn (James) Preston; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Professional services being rendered by Waters Funeral Home, Franklin, TN. Carter Funeral Home is honored to provide local support to the family of the late Mrs. Virginia Dobbins.
