Celebrating the legacy of our beloved, Mr. Ty”Keiz Javon Fisher, Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the accidental and sudden transition of young Mr. Fisher on May 13, 2022, at the age of 14.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, May 20, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home. The Farewell Celebration will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 2:00 pm at The Old Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. James Gochett, pastor.
Pastor George Bowens of the Brown Grove Christian Church will deliver the message of triumph and comfort.
Interment will follow all services in the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.
Ty’KeizJavon Fisher was a beloved son, adored by his parents, Terrence and Lazoya Finney. To others he was grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Ty’Keiz, affectionately known as “Big Daddy”, was a very respectful, smart, laidback, and cool young man. He was a leader and had his own mind and that is what everyone who has ever had the pleasure of knowing him loved about him the most.
“Big Daddy” was an 8th grade student at South Highlands Middle School where he excelled academically and athletically. He was slated, as a freshman, to play varsity football at Bullock County High School. He was admired by many as an outstanding student and athlete.
“Big Daddy,” although young, had plans for his future. He wanted to graduate and go off into the world to do great things. He regularly received praises from his peers, teammates, teachers, and coaches.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Jimmy “Candy” (Annie Bell) Youngblood, Sr, and Lucille (John) Jenkins, and Grady (Annie Bell) Owens Sr.
