Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mrs. Sharon Kate Palm - Bates of Dothan, Alabama.
Mrs. Bates, 55, peacefully transitioned into eternity September 18, 2021, at Flowers Hospital.
The Commemoration of life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, September 24, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Celebration at Graveside will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11:00 am from the Hayes Hill Missionary Baptist Cemetery Pastor Henry Streeter of the Hayes Hill and New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Churches will deliver the message of comfort and strength.
All visitations and services will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols and all attendees are encouraged to utilize appropriate facial coverings.
Sharon Kate Palm-Bates was born August 20, 1966, in Chicago, IL to the late Lucy and George Palm Sr.
During her early years, Sharon was a resident of Union Springs, AL for over 20 years before she relocated to Dothan, AL.
Sharon enjoyed her career as an LPN at the Southern Springs Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She dedicated her life to being a caring mother and grandmother. Sharon peacefully exchanged life for eternity on September 18, 2021, in Dothan, AL.
Precious memories will be cherished by her loving children, George W. Palm, Jr, Alexis S. Palm, Candice Moore -Palm, Jasmine R. Oliver, Justin E. Oliver, and Jordan O. Oliver. Her grandchildren, Ja’Marian “JD” Palm, Jaylen Palm, Jayda palm, Tariq Scott, Jayceon Mathis, Aleyah Shorter, and Karson Palm along with numerous other relatives and friends
