Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the transition of Ms.Ruby Nell "Lie Lie" Patterson, 59, of the Mt. Andrew Community, Midway, Alabama on August 15, 2018.
Born, October 3,1958, Ms. Patterson was currently residing at Southern Springs Healthcare and Rehabilitation Facility.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday. August 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm from the sanctuary of the Center Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Andrew Community, Rev. D. Moore, pastor.
The message of comfort and strength will delivered by the Rev. E. L. Heath, pastor of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Ms. Patterson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.
Public visitation will be held Friday. August 24, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
Ruby Nell “Lie Lie” Patterson was born October 3, 1958 to the late Jamie D. and Nell Lee Patterson in Mt. Andrew, Alabama.
She departed this life on August 15, 2018. Ruby Nell joined New Bethel Baptist Church at an early age. She served on the Usher’s Board. She was a faithful member until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two (2) brothers: James Mac Patterson and Cecil (Mildred) West, and two (2) sisters: Mary E. Patterson and Adna (Eddie) Streeter. She leaves to cherish her loving memories four (4) brothers: Charles Patterson, Union Springs, AL., Preston (Shirley) Patterson, Shelton (Jean) Patterson, and Aaron (Patricia) Patterson, all of Midway, AL.; five (5) sisters: Jannie Smith, Union Springs, AL., Isabella (Mansfield) Coffee, Akron, OH., Nettie Murray, Midway, AL., Pinkie (Linwood) Berry, Lady Lake, FL., and Shelley Patterson, Midway, AL.; three (3) extended sisters: Diane Spencer, Midway, AL., Ella Mae Stevenson, Chicago, IL., and Emma Smith, Akron, OH.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
