Obituary For Rosie S. Tolbert
The Caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mrs. Rosie S. Tolbert.
Ms. Tolbert transitioned into eternity, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the age of 62.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, August 1, 2025, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home, 302 Carter Street, Union Springs, AL.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00am from the sanctuary of the Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 2785 Co Rd 66, Union Springs, AL.
The eulogy will be given by Pastor Arthur Jones.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of the late Mrs. Rosie Lee Tolbert.

I remember that fish you fried and my son was eating it like he never had fish before. You ask me if had eaten fish before and I told you he haven't had nothing like your fish! We laughed so hard! I also remember my daughter locked my keys in the car and I told you, and you told Uncle Mitch. Y'all made sure I got those keys! I've learned many things from you and I'm thankful for it π I am going to miss seeing you when I come home π’ I remember every time I came home you would talk to me and ask me questions so you'll get to know me as an adult. I'll never forget how warm I've felt being near you π My heart hurts! I will cherish every memory I have with you and I pray Uncle Mitch, your daughter and grandchildren strength during their time of need.
May you continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind because he cares and will take care of you. Love you Mitchell and family.
