Obituary For Robert Youngblood
Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Robert Youngblood of Midway, Alabama.
Mr. Youngblood, known and loved as “Ricky”, 58, transitioned into eternity, May 16, 2021 at the Bullock County Hospital.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, May 21, 2021 beginning at 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Celebration at Graveside will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Midway, Alabama. Pastor W. J. Glover will deliver the message of comfort and strength.
Attendees for all visitations and services are requested to wear appropriate facial coverings and practice social distancing guidelines.
Mr. Robert “Ricky” Youngblood was born on March 23, 1963 in Midway, Al. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He had a love for agricultural farming, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by two loving parents, Robert “Bro” Smart and Mary “Tiny” Lampley; sisters: Vanessa “Van” Jones and Catherine Davis; brothers: Nelson Pugh and Hosea Smart; and sister-n-law Juanita Youngblood, brother-n-law Jasper Jones.
Ricky is survived by his five children: Shawanda (Kawaquane) Lee, Krystal Youngblood (Kevin), Kurstin Youngblood (Castillo), Robert Youngblood Jr. (Tiffany), and Kendarius Youngblood; seven grandchildren: Kevin, Ashari, Destini, Ka’Lias, Aden, Trinity, and Riley; two sisters: Oddie (Willie) Grier, Sandra Davis; five brothers: Allen (Bobby) Youngblood, Arthur (Christine) Youngblood Sr., Curtis Youngblood, Freddie (Barbara) Youngblood, Charles Youngblood (Anita); one aunt: Bobby Lampley along with a host of nieces, nephews and a special friend: Angela Streeter. A very special thanks to Stacey Youngblood-Shell, Brenda Young, and Tiffany King.
