Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Quintavius Jones, 27, of Union Springs Alabama on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Montgomery, Alabama.
Born October 23,1990, Mr.Jones is survived by his loving family and several friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 1 :00 pm from the sanctuary of the Calvary Baptist Church of the Guerryton Community, Rev. Chris Nunn, pastor.
A message of comfort and strength will be rendered by Pastor Dix.
Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Jones will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.
Public visitation will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
Quintavius Jones was called home on May 16, 2018 at the age of 27 to be with his father, the Lord Jesus Christ. He confessed Christ as his personal savior and joined the Calvary Baptist Church in Hurtsboro, AL in 2004. Qua graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 2004 in Tuskegee, AL. Qua began working at the local Piggly Wiggly as well as Wayne Farms, Walmart and Bonnie Plant Farm. He enjoyed family, friends, food, music and working; he was also a die-hard Auburn Tigers fan. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Oscar and Lizzie Brown. Quintavius will be deeply missed by his parents Brenda Johnson, (Daddy Billy) and Terry Jones; Grandparents Essie Mae Brown, Doe Johnson, Patricia Jones and Willie Cooper; three sisters: Lanecka Johnson (William), Shanquita Mariah Cloud-Cowan (Dr. Ko’Derris M. Cowan, Jr.) and Sheanene Johnson; two brothers: Demetrius Davis and Bud Davis; three nephews: Marquiaz Harris, Aiden Gomez and Ko’Derris Cowan Jr.; two nieces: MaLeah Harris and Amariyah Gomez; three uncles: Doe Johnson, David (Lurleen) and Danny “Drico” Johnson (Sharia); a devoted cousin Shirley B. Tolbert, as well as a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins; his loving girlfriend Jasmon Allen, stepdaughter Valencia Pye Allen and a very special friend Anthony Washington.
