Obituary For Melvin Jones
The Caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mr. Melvin Jones of Clayton, Alabama. Mr. Jones transitioned into eternity, Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 47.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, September 12, 2025, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home, 302 Carter Street, Union Springs, AL.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of the Mt. Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 5011 Pleasant Hill Road, Midway, AL.
The eulogy will be given by Pastor Jeffery Fortson.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of the late Mr. Melvin Jones.
