The caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mrs. Mary Ellen Jackson.
Mrs. Jackson transitioned into eternity Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 92.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Mt. Hillard Missionary Baptist Church, 4804 Co Rd 165, Union Springs, AL.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of the Mt. Hillard Missionary Baptist Church, 4804 Co Rd 165, Union Springs, AL.
The eulogy will be given by Pastor Dexter Foreman.
Interment will follow in the Town Creek Cemetery, Union Springs, AL.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of the late Mrs. Mary Ellen Jackson.

My Great Aunt was a beautiful soul. I remember visiting down south every year and my mom would make sure we visit Aunt Mary. Her desserts were the best. Although her physical body is no longer here. Her presence resides with each person she touched. Forever loved. Lifting up my Jackson family with the comfort and peace of God.
May God Wrap His Arms Around Mrs. Mary Ellen Jackson in Heaven. Mrs. Mary Ellen Jackson love by many and will be missed. Prayers To The Jackson Family. Amen!

I would like to express my complete thoughts of loss to the Jackson's Family. Your mom was what every woman should be, hoped to be and did it with such grace. She cooked, sang, praised, served, sheltered, and covered our community in kindness and generous giving. She was there to lift the load and help carry the burdens. So, don't grieve too long for she did her job as a servant to God well. You are in our thoughts, the entire Johnson's family as we bid her farewell from our presence. To the Jackson family, please know the Mrs. Mary Jackson was always kind, faithful to Towncreek, her church and anyone she met, she was just herself at all times. I will cherish the time I have had with her and Addie, when she would come to town just to make sure everything was alright. The love she shared will linger with me.
