Carter Funeral Home respectfully announces the transition of Mrs. Louise J. Hall, 61, of Opelika, Alabama, on November 4, 2016. Affectionately known as “Newt”, Mrs. Hall, the wife of Mr. Lorenzo “Bro” Hall was born November 19, 1954 in Union Springs, Alabama.
Visitation for family and friends will be held, Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 7: 00 pm at Carter Funeral Home. Mrs. Hall will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 at 11:00 am from the sanctuary of the True Deliverance Holiness Church, 936 North Donahue Drive, Auburn, Alabama. Bishop Nolan T. Tolbert, pastor.
Words of comfort will be rendered by Elder Grant Baker, Jr, pastor of the Greater Faith Temple Holiness Church, Auburn, Alabama.
Interment will follow in the Union Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Hardaway, Alabama.
Her legacy will be cherished by her devoted husband Lorenzo “Bro” Hall; Four daughters, Angela (Stanley) Pogue, Opelika, AL, Keisha (Valario) Johnson, Crawford, AL, LaTonya (Minister Dexter) Baker, Opelika, AL, and Shardae (Steven) Ross, Cusseta, AL; Two sons, Leroy Ross, Birmingham, AL and Roberto(Valerie) Hall, Union Springs AL five brothers, Arthur (Carrie)Johnson, Apopka, FL, West(late Thelma) Johnson, Detroit, MI, Curtis (Cynthia) Johnson, Columbus, GA, Perry Johnson, Montgomery, AL and Richard (Eunice) Johnson Montgomery, AL; Three sisters, Pearl Johnson, Kennesaw, GA, Corina (Marvel) Cleveland, OH, and Julia Johnson, Montgomery, AL; seventeen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces (beloved niece Dinell Marbury Birmingham, AL), nephews,other loving relatives and friends.
