Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mr. Johnny Clyde Kimber, (68) of Midway, AL.
Mr. Kimber transitioned into eternity Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the Bullock County Hospital
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday December 9, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Life Celebration at Graveside will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Azure Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
The message of comfort will be delivered by Pastor William J. Glover of the Fellowship and Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Churches.
In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.
Celebrating the Life Service for Johnny Clyde (Buddy) Kimber Johnny Clyde “Buddy” Kimber was born October 29, 1954 to the late Johnny Clyde (J.C.) Kimber and Rochell Foster Kimber.
He confessed Christ at an early age at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Midway Al.
He attended Union Springs High School and graduated with the class of 1975. Johnny attended Alabama Christian College in Montgomery Al. He worked many years at Diversified Products in Opelika, AL and Bonnie Plant Farm in Union Springs, AL until his health failed him.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents: J.C. Kimber and Rochell Foster Kimber, brother: Michael (Mack) Kimber, sister: Mary Tarver Murray, grandparents: Hugh and Rosie Bell Foster, nephews: Eric Dwayne Kimber and Maurice Kimber, special cousins: Bernard Foster, Carrie River Young & Rosie Jean Foster Walker.
Johnny Clyde (Buddy) Kimber went home to be with Christ on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
He leaves many loved ones to cherish his precious memories: his five siblings Annie Ester Kimber, Ellen (Jeff) Kimber-Scott, Mose (Christine) Foster of Midway, AL, Cynthia Foster James of Hampton, VA, Jerry (Eileen) Kimber of Fitchburg, MA.; nieces: Stephanie Kimber-Cayer, Shantoria Scott, Sharonda Johnson, Zekeria Kimber, Cyderia Holmes, nephews: Shawn James, Justin James, Jeremy Kimber, La’Travious Kimber, Cedric Foster, Jeffery Scott Jr., Michael Kimber Jr., Ronald Tarver and Jeffery Murray; two special cousins Margaret and Judy Foster of Midway, AL and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
