The Caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Ms. Johnnie Taylor Martin of Union Springs, Alabama.
Ms. Martin transitioned into eternity, Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 81.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, August 8, 2025, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home, 302 Carter St., Union Springs, AL.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00am from the sanctuary of the Wayman Chapel AME Church, 105 Cooper St., Union Springs, AL.
The eulogy will be given by Pastor R. Smith.
Interment will follow in the Perpetual Care Cemetery, Union Springs, AL.
