Obituary For Jeremy Armond Pritchett

Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Jeremy Armond Pritchett, (42) of Saginaw, MI.

Jeremy, the son of Eugene Gochet and Mary Ellen Pritchett was born August 21, 1979, in Saginaw, Michigan.

Jeremy answered the Master’s call on Friday, November 12, 2021.

Following services in Michigan, the Local Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, November 26, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home. Farewell services at Graveside will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00 am from the Lowfield Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Sylvester Pritchett of the Bethlehem Temple Church of God in Christ, Bellwood, AL will deliver the message of comfort. In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact. Jeremy was affectionately known as Jerry, Big Worm, J-Peezy and the creator of “J-Soufflé”. Baptized at the age of ten, Jeremy was a life-long member of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Houghton Elementary, Central Middle, and Saginaw High School. He attended both Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University.

He was the loving and caring father of two children, his son, Preston and daughter, Ava Pritchett who survives him. He is also survived by his father, Eugene Gochet and bonus-mom, Jay Hazel Christian siblings, Evelyn (Keith) Tucker, Jhavus A. Gochet, and Katara (Damion) Woods; his most loving aunt who cared for him like a son, Theresa Plowden; close cousins with whom he loved and held close, Samuel Austin, Sharifa Bennett, Ivory Franks, Jeffrey Franks, Jr., Antwan and Paris Oates, Imani and Marvin Plowden, Ahmad Pritchett and Yusuf Sadrud -Din.

Special mention with respect to the Wolf Pack that includes, Corey (Keosha) Welch, Ronald Smith and Ahmad Pritchett; uncles and aunts, Pastor Sylvester (Ethel) Pritchett, Roy Pritchett, Curtis (Valerie) Pritchett, Theresa (Marvin) Plowden, Dr. Sakeenah Y. Sadrud-Din, Zoe Lee Pritchett, Betty O’Hara, Mary Helen Pritchett, Robert James Gochet, Drakie (Sandra) Gosha, Bonnie (Levy) Williams, Lecy A. (Ivan) Stokes, Henry O. (Alice) McGowan; great-uncle, Bennie Lee (Sammie Mae) Pritchett; nephews and Nieces, Keanna Gochet, Jhavus Gochet, Jr. Darius, Anyah, Damion, Jr. and Ahmir Woods, KeiLyn Tucker; great-nieces, Noelle and Nazani Gochet; a Host of many family members and friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Pritchett; stepmother, Ruby Gochet; his mate and mother of his children, Lakesha Sharee Macon; grandparents, Jimmie Lee and Lee Ellen Pritchett, Bost T. Gosha and Ovell Faulk Gosha; uncles, Joseph Gosha and Jimmie Pritchett; aunts, Katherine Oates, Marvella Henry, Alma R. Gachett, Lizzell Reid and a special cousin, Adrian Oates.
