Obituary For James Otis Tolbert
The caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. James Otis Tolbert.
Mr. Tolbert transitioned into eternity on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the age of 69.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, January 2, 2026 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at
Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00pm from the sanctuary of the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, 2785 Co Rd 66, Union Springs, AL.
The eulogy will be given by Pastor A. Jones.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of the late Mr. James Otis Tolbert.
