Carter Funeral Home announces with humble respect, the transition of Mr. James Earl Peebles, 64, of Union Springs, Alabama
Celebration of Life Services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the sanctuary of the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church of the Aberfoil Community
The pastor, Rev. Hawthorne Reed will deliver the eulogy.
Interment will follow in the Elizabeth Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Peebles will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.
James Earl Peebles was born to the late T. L. and Ida Mae Peebles on December 20, 1953. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Ida Mae Peebles; father, Mr. T. L. Peebles; two brothers: Mr. Willie Ben Peebles and Johnny Lee Peebles; one sister, Mrs. Josephine Baker; one brother-in-law, Tommy Baker, Sr., and one sister-in-law, Mary Peebles.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three sisters: Mary Ford, Shirley (Johnnie) Coleman both of Union Springs, AL., and Anne Dotson, Birmingham, AL.; five brothers: Millard Peebles and Clarence (Gloria) Peebles both of Union Springs, AL., Willie James (Manila) Peebles and Johnny E. D. (Mable) Peebles both of Columbus, GA., and Thomas (Shirley) Peebles of Detroit, MI.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
