Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mrs. Isabella Walker, of Midway Alabama.
Mrs. Walker, 69, peacefully transitioned into eternity August 23, 2021, at her residence.
The Commemoration of life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, August 27, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Celebration at Graveside will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 12:00 pm at the New Bethel Church Cemetery. Pastor Jerome Anthony will deliver the message of comfort and strength.
All visitations and services will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols and all attendees are encouraged to utilize appropriate facial coverings.
Isabella was born to the parents of the late William Earle, Sr. and Annie B. Earle on Januray 27, 1952. Isabella confessed Christ at an early age and joined St. Mark A.M.E Church, Hurtsboro, Alabama. She was presently a member of New Bethel Church, Midway, Alabama.
Isabella married the love of her life, James Walker, on July 3, 1973. In this union, two sons were born, James Jr. and Jamar.
Isabella was employed with Goodwill Industries located in Miami, Florida until she retired in 2017.
Isabella was preceded in death by their son, James, Jr.; brothers, Arthur Earle, Andrew Earle, John Earl; and sisters, Ruby Thomas and Annie Waddles-Whitlow.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her husband, James Walker, Miami, FL; son, Jamar Walker, Miami, FL; mother, Annie B. Earle, Midway, AL; eight siblings, Berneda Earle, Detroit, MI; William (Addie) Earl, Jr., Decatur, GA; Irene Earl, Riverdale, GA; Mable Earl, Sharpsburg, GA; Mary (Michael) Todd, Stone Mountain, GA; Edna Earl-Phillips, Montgomery, AL; Alice Williams, Atlanta, GA; Lucy Earl, Forest Park, GA; brothers-in-law; Moses Walker, Midway, AL; Joe (Janet) Walker, Midway, AL; Arthur (Callie) Walker, Midway, AL; sisters-in-law; Regina Jackson, Midway, AL; Mary (John) Avery, Tampa, FL; Margaret Young, Eufaula, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members
