With deep humility the Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Harold B. Scott of Union Springs, Alabama.
Mr.Scott, 63, slept away into eternity on April 8, 2021 while surrounded by the comfort of his loving family in the Sardis Community.
Commemoration of Life Services will begin with a public visitation Friday, April 16, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
Farewell Services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Old Sardis Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
The Pastor Dr. James Gochett will deliver the message of comfort.
Harold B. Scott was born on January 25, 1958 to the late Frazier and Novella Scott in Union Springs, AL. At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and joined Old Sardis Baptist Church in Union Springs, AL.
On March 7, 2021, he -dedicated his life to Christ.
Along with his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Scott and sister, Bertha Scott.
Harold was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted daughter, Kimberly D. Harris of Montgomery, AL; three devoted sons, Harold (Pearlisa) Scott of Troy, AL, Cedric Scott of Madison, TN, and Kelvin Scott of Union Springs, AL; eleven loving grandchildren, Tykia, Taiquwan, Kasaria, Haroldson, Chambreana, TyHerra, Caiden, Caidyn, Paisley, Zaya, and Kaitlyn; one great-grandchild, Ta’Riyah; four sisters, Barbara Lewis, Lisa, Mary and Kellie Scott, all of Union Springs, AL; three brothers, Clifford (Gazetta) Scott, Frazier (Sandra) Scott, and Jeffery (Ellen) Scott, all of Union Springs, AL; one aunt, Gloria Zachery of Bristol, CT, two uncles, Arthur Whitehead of Windsor, CT and Eddie Whitehead of Hilton Head, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be selected to provide End of Life Services for the late Mr. Harold B. Scott.
We shall forever LOVE and remember You! Additionally, we will hold on to the many memories of our childhood as well as, the love of our Family and our Faith that we taught! Thank God for "Your Rest In The Shadow Of The Almighty." Amen!!! Love Eternally, Carrie & Family.
