Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Fletcher Le'Wayne Tolbert, 35 of Opelika, Alabama on February , 6, 2019.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 12 :00 noon from the sanctuary of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. James N. Robbins, Sr. Pastor.
The eulogy will be delivered by the Rev. Tommy Cooper, pastor of the Morning Star Baptist Church of the Newtown Community.
Interment will follow all Services in the Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Tolbert will lie in repose at the Church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.
Public visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 from 2;00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
Fletcher LeWayne Tolbert was born to Norcleatha Tolbert and Fletcher Ellison in Tuskegee, Alabama on January 7, 1984. He grew up in Midway, Alabama. Fletcher departed this life on February 6, 2019.
He graduated from Bullock County High School in Union Springs, Alabama as a member of the Class of 2004. He graduated from Southern Union State Community College in Opelika, Alabama with an Associates Degree in Engineering and Design Technology in May 2014. Fletcher began working at Mando America in 2014 and had recently been promoted to a Quality Lab Technician. He was preceded in death by one brother, Pleas Tolbert, Phoenix, Arizona and joined by one loving grandmother, Velma Tolbert, Union Springs, Alabama.
Fletcher leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Norcleatha Tolbert, Lorton, Virginia; father, Fletcher Ellison, Midway, Alabama; four sisters, Vanessa Ellison, Atlanta, Georgia; LaTarsha Ellison- Shepherd, Midway, Alabama; Ashshanae Chew, Lorton, Virginia; Ashley Tolbert, San Jose, California; one loving grandmother, Artie Bell Ellison, Century, Florida; one daughter, Haleigh Sorina Tolbert; special friend, Darmesha Tyson, Valley, Alabama; and a host of other friends and family.

My prayers go forward to the entire family and loved ones. In times like these we can only look unto the hills from whence comes our help, our help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth. May God provide peace comfort and understanding as only HE can.

Wayne I find it hard to believe that you're gone I have so many fun memories of you like I remember asking you your favorite color and you said with all the beautiful colors in the world I really can't pick one and when you come to visit and I will cook soul food I can close my eyes and see you in those greens or cabbage and cornbread with your hands who knew but you so down to earth all I can do now is hold those beautiful memories and many more you're my heart I'm praying for your family and your friends I know that you're with your granny because you loved her so much she couldn't stay here without you
