Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mrs. Ernestine Delane Hill Anthony, of Union Springs, Alabama. Mrs. Anthony, 48, transitioned into eternity, May 9, 2021 at her residence.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, May 14, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Celebration at Graveside will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 12:00 pm from the New Bethel Church Cemetery. Dr. Jerome Anthony, Pastor of New Bethel Church will deliver the eulogy.
Attendees for all visitations and services are requested to wear appropriate facial coverings and practice social distancing guidelines.
Ernestine Delane Hill Anthony was born to Miss Earnestine Hill on January 11, 1973. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Pine Level, Alabama.
She was a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School.
Ernestine leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Mr. Edward Anthony; mother, Miss Earnestine (Albert) Hill; two daughters: Brittany (Caleb) Hill, Union Springs, AL and Tiffany (Mardus) Hill, Tuskegee, AL; grandmother, Jeanett (Lindberg) Foster, Jasper, AL; grandfather, Edward Brown, Troy, AL; sister, Shenika Hill, Fitzpatrick, AL; four precious grandsons: Jakareion, Jakayden, Jacai and JaCaleb; one great aunt, Sweetie Mae Siler, Troy, AL; six aunts: Shella (Darick) Smiley, Hayden, AL, Sharon (Vincent) Hueytown, AL; Liz (Cedric) Fannin, Birmingham, AL; Everlyn Brown, Troy, AL, Nonia (John) Williams, Troy, AL, Flora Lloyd) Merritt, Troy, AL; and a host of cousins and friends.
