Delvin Orlando Patterson was born June 8, 1989 in Bullock County, AL to Lenett Patterson and Samuel Mims.At an early age, he confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined the New Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E.L. Heath. He served the Lord faithfully and he was also an usher. Delvin was a 2008 graduate of Bullock County High School.
Delvin was preceded in death by: two aunts, Hazel Farrior Lyshippercon and Betty Farrior Wright. Delvin leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted mother and loving father, Lenett Patterson, Union Springs, AL and Samuel (Debra) Mims, Greenville, SC; two grandmothers, Jannie Mae (Curtis) Smith, Lillie (Solomon, Sr.) Marlow, all of Union Springs, AL; two brothers, Jamauri Tayo Patterson, Union Springs, AL and Andrew (Addenia) Manuel, Sr., Montgomery, AL; three sisters, Tasia (Marquez) Manuel, Macon, GA, Shirlinda Murry and Star’Quasia Turner, both of Union Springs, AL; three aunts, Angela (James) Calloway, Shelia Marlow, both of Union Springs, AL and Shirley Fergurson, Miami, FL; five uncles, Joe T. (Sheri) Smith, Midway, AL, Raymond (Tara) Marlow, Miamisburg, OH, Solomon (Batrinka) Marlow, Jr., Montgomery, AL, Alofonzo Farrior, Ronald Farrior, both of Birmingham, AL; devoted friends, Bramad (Mard) McCray, Midway, AL, Jered Anderson and Kylen Grace, both of Union Springs, AL; a special friend, Taetityana Tarver, Macon County, AL; four nieces, three nephews, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Man, I'm going to miss you more than you cud ever imagine. I love you, my 1st nephew. No more pain for you. Rest in Paradise.
