Carter Funeral Home respectfully announces the transition of Mr. Danny Adrian Parker, 30, a resident of Union Springs, Alabama. Mr. Parker, born April 15, 1985, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of the Old Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, 4397 AL-223, Union Springs, Alabama. Rev. George Ivey, Pastor will render words of comfort. Rev. Hawthorne Reed, Officiating. Elizabeth Baptist Church, Union Springs, Alabama
Interment will follow in the Sandtown Cemetery, Midway, Alabama.

Educational Training: He was educated in the Bullock County School System. Spiritual Training: Danny confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and united with the Old Sardis Baptist Church at an early age.
A Love United “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: And they shall be one flesh” – Genesis 2: 24 He met and married Montra Davie. Unto this union 3 children were born.
A Quiet Life Although Danny possessed a quiet spirit, his love for music spoke volumes of hi9s love for life. He demonstrated his passion for life and his family by always being in the company of his siblings, cousins and close friends..

His parents – Marvin Sr. & Beverly Cooks-Parker. One sister – Kaylynn Parker. Three brothers – Marvin Jr. (Tracy), Kingston (Contia) & Julian Parker, all of Union Springs, Alabama. Mother and Father-in-law, James & Mattie Williams Davie. Aunts & Uncles – Joyce (Curtis) Caldwell, Franklin, Tennessee, Sharon (Therrell) Newton, & Ronald (Tracy) Franklin, both of Atlanta, Georgia. Dorothy (Larry) Nobles, Dianne (Lenard) Cooks, Sammy (Darlene) Cooks, Albert Cooks, Carolyn Cooks, Kenneth (Judy) Cooks, Swanja Williams, Kamethia (Carlos) Stanley & Kimberly (Dwayne Dickerson, all of Union Springs, Alabama.
