Carter Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the transition of Mr. Bryant DeAndre Harris, 25, of Union Springs, Alabama. Mr. Bryant, born May 16,1991 transitioned into eternity Saturday, February 25,2017.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday,March 11,2017 at 1:00 pm from the Auditorium of the Bullock Career Technical Center of Union Springs.
Rev. Arnather Baxter,pastor of the Greenwood and Greater Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Churches will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Cemetery, Fitzpatrick,Alabama.
Mr.,Harris will lie in repose at the center one,hour prior to,Celebration of Life Services.
Visitation for family and friends will,be held Friday,March 10,2017 from 2:00 until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home
Bryant "Big B" DeAndre Harris was born May 16, 1991 in Union Springs, AL to Adolphus and the late Rosa Jones Harris. He graduated Bullock County High School in 2010. He married his high school sweetheart, Shontay James Harris, on December 23, 2014. Bryant was well known and mostly known for his silly sense of humor. He enjoyed joking, hanging with friends, and buying and selling cars. He was member of Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church in Fitzpatrick, AL, where he served as an Usher during his youth.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Jones Harris.
Bryant is survived by: his wife, Shontay James Harris; two children, Bryant Harris, Jr. and Bryniya Harris, all of Union Springs, AL; father, Adolphus (Vinnie) Harris, Fitzpatrick, AL; sisters, Sherry (Joe) Sullen, Monica (Jerome) Sanford, all of Fitzpatrick, AL and Lashonda (Casey) Jones, Shorter, AL; brothers, Ricky (Lillie) Jones, Union Springs, AL and Aundre (Rolandia) Harris of Michigan; aunts, Stannie Holcomb, Columbus, GA, Callie (Arthur) Jones, Hattie Harris, Cozetta and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, all of Fitzpatrick, AL, Betty (Ronald) Goshay and Savannah Fitzpatrick, all of Union Springs, AL, Rosa Flowers of Florida, Ethel (William) Hermon, Montgomery, AL, Bernice (Robert) McKinnes and Lythea Sellers, all of Birmingham, AL; uncles, Walter Fitzpatrick of Michigan, Sanders Fitzpatrick, Robert (Cynthia) Harris, Tobbie Harris, Rozell Harris, all of Fitzpatrick, AL and Charles Sellers, Montgomery, AL; his father and motherin- law, Frederick (Jacqueline) James; two sisters-in-law, Natashia Sellers and Zee James; one brother-in-law, Frederick James; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including three special friends, Chris King, Charlie Parham and Nathan Powell.
