Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Brad Johnson of Ozark, Alabama.
Mr. Johnson, 52, transitioned into eternity on Tuesday, March 16, 2020 at his residence.
Brad Johnson was born October 2, 1968 to the late Mr. Johnnie Downing and Mrs. Bernice Williams.
Accepting Christ at an early age, Brad joined Union Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fort Davis, Alabama.
Fishing was Brad's favorite hobby.
Brad was also preceded in death by three brothers, Eric Williams, Shawn Williams, and Clayton Williams, and one sister, Cynthia Williams.
Brad leaves to cherish his memories fours sisters, Reene Cooper, Union Springs, AL, April Johnson, Hurtsboro, AL, Daphne Downing, New York, and Valerie Davis, Hardaway, AL; six brothers, Ricky (Lita) Williams, Carrolton, GA, Neal (Paula Sue) Williams, Hartford, CT, Antonion (Bridgett Beasley) Davis, Opelika, AL, Ronald Earl (Meshell) Maloy, Hardaway, AL, and Bryant Downing, Tuskegee, AL; eight aunts, Janie Williams, Elizabeth Braxton, Alberta Williams, all of Union Springs, AL, Juanita Williams, Tuskegee, AL, Mattie Gilberry, Ollie Bell Harris, both of Haines City, FL, Annie Barns, and Minnie Pearl Williams, both of Fort Davis, AL; four uncles, James (Stacy) Downing, New Jersey, Edward (Terry Ann) Downing, Syracuse, NY, Edward Williams, Union Springs, AL, and Ludie Williams, Boston, MA; along with a host of nieces including his special nieces, Valencia Johnson and Sanchez Johnson, nephews, cousins, and friends including his special friends, Jimmy Johnson, Tuskegee, AL, Joshua and Rosa Sellers.
