Obituary For Archie Lee Pritchett
Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the peaceful transition of Mr. Archie Lee Pritchett, 78, of Union Springs, Alabama on June 9, 2020.
Mr. Pritchett, affectionately known as "Lil Buddy" passed away peacefully at his residence.
His earthly life will be celebrated Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12:00 noon at the Old Sardis Baptist Cemetery.
Pastor James Gochett of the Old Sardis Missionary Baptist Church will officiate the services and deliver the eulogy.
Public visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.
All visitations and services will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols.
Archie Lee Pritchett was born on September 15, 1941 to the late Andrew Lee Pritchett and Mittie Mae Wiggins Pritchett. At an early age, Archie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Union Springs, Alabama. Archie was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. All who knew him will miss him. On June 9, 2020, surrounded by his loving family, God called Archie to his Heavenly home.
Archie leaves to cherish his loving memories, a wife: Ruby Clyde Pritchett, Union Springs, Alabama; two sons: Ricky Hooks, Union Springs, Alabama and Anthony Pritchett, Columbus, Georgia; one daughter, Ruby Williams, Union Springs, Alabama; eight grandchildren: Katrina Hooks, Quinosha (Demetrius) Parham, Jamieson Jenkins, De’quentae Rodgers, Ricky Hooks, Malik Hooks, Marquise Hooks and Tesia Hooks, all of Union Springs, Alabama; eight-great grandchildren; five sisters: Helen Murray of Fitzpatrick, Alabama, Ernestine Brundage and Mandy Matthews of Haines City, Florida, Bertha (James) Jones and Betty Watson of Rochester, New York and a host of other relatives and friends
