Carter Funeral Home humbly and honorably announces the peaceful transition of Ms. Annie Laura Reynolds, (89) of Fitzpatrick, Alabama.
Ms. Reynolds, lovingly known as “Tot” transitioned into eternity on June 09, 2022, at her residence, while under the watchful care of her loving family.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, June 17, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Celebration will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 am from the sanctuary of the Oak Grove Number 4 Missionary Baptist Church of the Shopton Community. Pastor Anthony C. Williams will deliver the message of triumph.
Interment will follow all services in the Oak Grove Number 4 Baptist Cemetery.
Annie Laura (Tot) Reynolds was born on March 7, 1933, to the late Rosie Surles and the late Jeff Christian.
At an early age she joined the Oak Grove #4 Baptist Church and sang in the choir for many years. Preceding her in death was a loving brother, Willie Louis Christian.
Annie Laura leaves to cherish her memories: brother, Jimmie Surles, Tacoma, WA; sister in law, Edith Christian, Haines City, FL, Ten children, Rose (Lorenzo) Stokes, Houston, TX; Larry (Donna) Reynolds, Fitzpatrick, AL, Shirley Thomas, Union Springs, AL, Patricia McGhee, Fitzpatrick, AL, Debra Palmer, Augusta, GA, Stephen Reynolds, Opelika, AL, Beverly (Anthony) Scott, Montgomery, AL Regina Long, Fitzpatrick, AL, Jacqueline Jackson, Union Springs, AL, and Marcia (Calvin) Reynolds, Houston, Tx, God daughter Dorothy (Dot) Thomas, Banks, AL, a devoted grandson and granddaughter Raymond and Erica Long, twenty four grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, six great, great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
