I was saddened deeply to see that one of the friends I had the honor of working with has passed away. He was always there to lend a very experienced helping hand. I had the honor of getting him a shirt that had matching tie and pocket hanky. It was an honor to give that present to him because he had helped me so much and such a knowledgeable person. I only spoke with him once after he retired and wish I had taken the opportunity to speak with him more often.
Carolyn and Bette. I hope memories of your brother and father, console and comfort you. I have heard great things about him, He lived life with enthusiasm and purpose. May God bless you!!!
I am so saddened to hear of your fathers passing. When I first started working for the city of East Orange in 1999 as the tax collector Your father decided we were going to arrest everybody who bounced checks. Omg He did a raid one morning and arrested like 40 people. Newark police officers, Council people‘s parents. He didn’t care! It was a Friday and most of the people ended up spending the weekend in jail. Lmao! He would come to our office and actually cook for us sometimes. He was the best detective, a true friend and a great man!
Thanks for being a great co-worker and family friend. Thanks for all the fish fries, dog races and laughs at work. May the Lord have his arms open and waiting for you. God bless your family and may bring peace and comfort to them.
Thanks for all the memories and all that I learned from you while working cases. R. I.P. my funny partner and friend.
