Central Cremation Services announces the passing of Nina Cason Dean, age 62, of Hoschton, GA, on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.

Nina was born on March 27th, 1964.

Nina Cason Dean passed away on September 8th, 2026, at age 62 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Nina was full of laughter, care, and quiet strength. A devoted partner and queen in every sense to Dan, her husband of almost 41 years. She loved travel, music, and time spent with family. Her compassion touched everyone she met.

She worked in information technology for 20 years at Norfolk Southern Railroad. She graduated from Georgia Tech with her industrial engineering degree. She held numerous leadership positions with multiple charities and organizations.

Nina was predeceased by her fathers Daniel Cason and Ryan Garner. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel Charles Dean, mother Donna Kay Garner, sons Charles Louis Dean II, Daniel Cason Dean, Kirby Legrand Dean and Kory Ryan Dean, sisters, Ramona Darlene Garner, Danette (Dee) Weldon, and Tina Denise Garner, grandchildren Charles Ryan Dean, Lilian (Lily) Adele Dean, Alice Kathryn Dean, Elizabeth (Ellie) Jane Dean, Jackson Noah Dean, Lucy May Dean, Arthur Reynolds Dean and Emerson (Emmie) Kay Dean along with many others who loved her deeply.

Nina’s love, generosity, and warmth will remain a guiding light in all our lives.

A celebration of Nina’s life will be held at Ivy Creek Baptist Church (2500 Ivy Creek Road Buford GA) on September 15. Visitation will be at 6 pm with a memorial service at 7 pm.

Family and friends are encouraged to share stories that capture her spirit and joy.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Alzheimer’s research.
