Ms. Lovis King Greene "Love" passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on August 30, 1937, in Buena Vista, GA, to the late Willie Mercer King and Rosie Bud Gardner King.

The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Greene will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m . at New Bethel A.M.E. Church, with interment at Evergreen Memorial Garden. Service will be live-streamed (see clickable link below)

Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Progressive, then at 2:30 p.m. at New Bethel A.M.E. Church.
