Ms. Charnesia "CoKo" Buckner, 37, of West Point, Georgia, returned to the arms of the Lord on June 30, 2026 at Wellstar Kennestone Medical Center, Marietta, Georgia.

When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced, you lived your life in such a way so that when you die the world will cry and you will rejoice.

With deep love and Cherished memories, we Celebrate the life and legacy of Ms. Charnesia "Coko" Buckner, daughter of Lakeisa Buckner and Charles Dooley was born on April 20th 1989 in Valley Alabama. On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center, Marietta GA, the Angels of Heaven Stood by her side and Whispered, 'Come With Me For Eternal Rest."

Charnesia received her education in the Troup County School System, where she was in the class of 2007.

"Coko" as she was known by many, was a lovable person a lady of strength, and never met a stranger, the people she loved she made it known. Coko enjoyed, cooking, singing, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was always the life of the party. She was always giving with love and welcomed everyone to her heart.

“Coko” She was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Brenda Buckner, Jill Jones, Calvin and Merlene Dooley. Special parent Lamar Billingsley, a special grandmother; Ophelia Jones, her brother DeMarcus Buckner, Aunt Marie Buckner and Uncles Keith Buckner and Michael Dooley.

Charnesia leaves to cherish her memories and resilience: to her children, Michael McCants Jr., Mi'Kyla McCants and Mi’Kell McCants, of West Point Georgia, Mikeiya McCants, Jakayla Brown of LaGrange, Georgia, Zy' Michael McCants of Lanett, Alabama and special daughter Nakeriona Heard of Lanett, Alabama; her mother, Lakeisa Buckner, West Point, Georgia; father, Charles Dooley of Valley, Alabama; special mom, JoAnn Jones, West Point, Georgia; siblings Lakeithin Buckner (Jeandriean Dawson), ZaQuareia Buckner, Frederick Copeland Jr. all of West Point Georgia, Kynerria Crowley of LaGrange, Georgia, Rapheal Dyer of LaGrange, Georgia, Tol'Kevious Owens, Tierra Henry, Dimitri (Shantrice) Henry, all of Lanett, Alabama, ChaKeria Phillips of Grove Hill, Laresha Thomas of LaGrange Georgia; an uncle that she cherished and thought the world of and he would always say his favorite niece, Cudallas Buckner of West Point Georgia; aunts, Renata Buckner, Mona Green, LaShonda Jones, Francheska Penn, Demarcus Hutchinson, Felix Trammell, Michelle Dooley, Jermaine Dooley; a host of great aunts; great uncles; nieces, nephews, cousins and best friend Samantha Finley.
