Mr. Richard Wesley Matthews passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the age of 68. He was born on December 11, 1957, to the late Joseph Braxton, Sr. and Elizabeth Miles Braxton in Washington, DC.

There will be a Memorial Service for Mr. Matthews at a later date.
