A Time to be Planted: Mr. Ollin Wright was born November 17, 1948 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie L & Mamie Wright of West Point, GA. Shortly after graduating in the 1967 class of Harrison High School, Ollin moved to Chicago, Illinois with his beloved wife. During this union they had three beautiful children, one son, Kenyatta Wright, who preceded him in death and two wonderful daughters Shandra and Nicole Wright.
A Time to Love: Mr. Ollin Wright loved his children with all his heart, but something about his grandchildren - he could never say “NO.” He was a great dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. A quote from his girls, “We lost a wonderful man our dad Mr. Ollin Wright, he went on to join his Holy Father, as well as his natural mother and father, son and two sisters. Through this time, we have learned that this was the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad. (Psalm 1:18-24).”
A Time of Peace: On December 15, 2018 at 5:15 pm Mr. Ollin Wright passed away peacefully at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, IL.
A Time to Mourn: Mr. Ollin Wright leaves to cherish his memories his children: Shandra(Erik) Porche and Nishelle”Nicole” Wright of Chicago, IL and Caris Brooks of Detroit, MI; grandchildren: Takyra and Emmandra Wright, Darrell Jenkins, and Erika Porche of Chicago, IL, Vanna Brown, Marcus & Kinnard Clay Jr. of Detroit, MI; three brothers: Willie B.
