Ms.Ruth Burney, 98, of Union Springs, Alabama transitioned into eternity, April 6,2016.

Ms.,Burney was born November 5, 1917 to the late E.T. Burney and Minnie McGowan Burney.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Liberty Cemetery, Halls Crossroads Community, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Words of comfort will be delivered by Rev. Evins Faulk, Jr., Pastor of Sweet Gum A.M.E. Zion Church, Shorter, AL.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted sister, Naomi Burney; niece, Chlora Evans, Montgomery, AL; nephew, Alfred Clemmons, Chicago, IL; a devoted sister-in-law, Ree Johnnie Burney, Montgomery,AL; a special and devoted cousin, Gloria A. Roberson,Troy,AL and a host of other cousins and friends.
