Ms. Mary Maxwell of Alexander City, Alabama peacefully transitioned home Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Russell Medical.

Funeral Service for Ms. Mary Elizabeth Maxwell will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at New Life Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 7, 2019 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Maxwell was born October 10, 1941 to late Jack Tuck and late Carmilla Martin Buckner in Alexander City, Alabama. Mary Elizabeth Tuck transitioned to her eternal home on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Russell Medical Center.

Mary Elizabeth Tuck was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Tuck and Carmilla Martin Buckner, her son, Ronald Keith Maxwell, her husband, Otis Maxwell, her sister Ruth Carrington, and her niece Latonia Whetstone.

She leaves to cherish precious memories two sons; Rodney Wade (Tiffany) Maxwell and Randall Kelvin Maxwell of Alexander City, Alabama, two grandsons: Jermaine Coleman of Sarasota, Florida and Adrian Minnifield of Atlanta, Georgia; one granddaughter: Rena Minnifield of Alexander City, Alabama one brother, Henry Louis (Mary Ann) Tuck of Alexander City, Alabama; two sisters, Laura (Walter) Hutchins of Jackson’s Gap, Alabama and Diane (Ronnie) Riggins of Birmingham, Alabama; one aunt, Maggie Martin Jackson of Jackson, Mississippi; one uncle, Leon Martin of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother - in - law, William (Marie) Carrington. She will be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
