Obituary For Mrs. Emma Albertine Walker

Walker, Mrs. Emma Albertine Toney, a resident of Lanett, AL, died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in Lithonia, GA surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 am from Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lanett, AL, Dr. Jesse J. Walker II, Pastor/ Eulogist and Dr. W. T. Edmondson, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Lanett, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2019 at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Having served as a Musician since the age of 13, upon her death she served as Minister of Music Emeritus of the Ebenezer Baptist Church where she had been a member since 1943. She was a retired educator with 32 years of teaching. Her survivors include: her four children, Dr. Jesse J. Walker II (Linda), Dr. Albert L. Walkerfami, Sr. (Pat), Dr. Daisy L. Davis and Dr. Albertine L. Marshall; her nine grandchildren, Dr. Tonjanita Johnson (Tony), Albert Walker, Jr. (Valerie), Kenneth E. Marshall, Christopher Walker, Dr. Felicia W. Stewart (Darryl), James Walker, Terrence Davis, LaShawna Walker-Greer and Jesse J. Walker III; 14 great-children; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
