Mrs. Patricia Ann Robinson Harrison, 73, of Wichita, KS, formerly of West Point, GA transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 10 at Carilion Clinic, Roanoke, VA surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Harrison was born July 27, 1945 in LaGrange, GA to the William Howard and Marie Cumberlander Robinson. Patricia was the second of four children. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. John Community Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until she moved to Fort Worth, TX in 1975. She was salutatorian of Harrison High School’s 1963 graduating class, receiving several scholarships to attend Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, MS. A woman of great faith, Patricia was favored by God with a full, eventful and happy life. She was the consummate hostess who remained stylish, gracious and witty until the last hours of her life. Everyone loved Pat’s effervescent smile. Truly one of a kind, Patricia holds the distinction of being selected as the first Black employee to integrate West Point Pepperell’s Corporate Offices. Patricia’s life was a life well lived.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her brother, William Howard Robinson, Jr.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 44 years, Dr. Terry Lee Harrison, Sr., their three children and five grandchildren: Lutheria Harrison Smith (James) and children Patricia Bradley and James Eugene, Jr. of Roanoke, VA; Crystal Bathsheba Harrison of Roanoke, VA; and Terry Lee Harrison, Jr. (Letitia) and children, Aysia Terrie, Anaya Yvonne and Terry Lee Harrison, III of Mesa, Arizona. Patricia is also survived by her brother, Gregory Louis Robinson of Rochester, NY and sister, Dianne Yvonne Robinson, of Lanett, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
