Obituary For Render Gates

We respectfully announce the passing of Mr. Render Gates, age 93, of Hogansville, Georgia on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM at The Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ, 803 Askew Ave. in Hogansville. Pastor Robert Longshore will officiate and interment will follow in the St. Paul AME Church Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family. During this difficult time,please let God's word at Psalms 62:8 comfort you. "Trust in him at all times, O people. Pour out your hearts before him. God is a refuge for us."

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Mr.Gates during this difficult time. It's not easy losing somebody you love dearly. But it is comforting to know that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will completely remove all grief at the time of the resurrection. I hope this scripture found in John 5:28, 29 bring you all joy and peace by knowing what our father has planned for us in the future. It saids,"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out. Those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
